Our Mission is to propagate cricket through education, coaching and playing cricket.

1000 participants by 2025*

With 80+ participants in the programs in 2021, and 500 in 2022 the target of 1000 participants may seems coming closer. However, with the momentum of the returning students who continue to grow with the organization, this is possible.

Engagement in cricket expanded to included families, communities across multiple cities. This significantly increased participation, engagement and amount of cricket being played. In addition to youth and men's cricket, this year had our first Women's cricket team (YCW Ravens)!

USA Cricket WIM HUB 2023

WIM = Wisconsin + Iowa + Minnesota combined to create our hub for USA Cricket. With games held in 3 states for U13, U15 and U17, it was a busy season for the youth program.

As our HUB matures, our youth are the future of the cricket in the region. We began by planting the seeds for a long future to come.

Special thanks to our partner HUB academies:

Special year to shake hands with Sir Viv Richards

Incredible opportunity to spend a reception dinner with the legend of cricket know for his swag and redefining aggressive batting. Thank you for the collaboration United Cricket Foundation!

Facilities to play cricket consistently

This has been a to-do item for multiple years. Having our own place to practice. After fundraising for material and a lot of elbow grease by volunteers, we were able to have our own batting nets setup in the heart of Brookfield.

Open to all team members and available for rentals, we are hoping to decrease the cost of offering programs for cricket.

Easy cricket equipment accessibility

Did you know that 30% of the cricket equipment cost is in shipping and another 15% is in royalties to various brands?

YCW has partnered directly with the same manufactures to get savings and have its own products to decrease costs to the consumer. This effort is to make cricket more accessible to the local masses with less initial investment in gear, but with the same quality of equipment as the professionals.

Engagement of local community youth

Multiple schools, multiple ages, multiple opportunities to connect with the local youth for Cricket. A big thank you to the schools for hosting us and also the volunteers for spending the time to get cricket to school sports.

Friendly games/competitions - Making Cricket FUN!

YCW Ravens

Hit like a girl... and they love their cricket! The YCW Ravens participated in their first competitive tournament and walked away with friendships, laughs and learnings. Already 2024 season planning and practice is in full swing! Contact us if you are a futuer Raven!

Chicago T10 Championship

6 a-side tournament with extensive physical and skill to cover the entire field... YCW Smashers were the underdogs of the tournament. Ending as the champions, this was a great team experience.

Chicago T-30 Red ball long format

Playing a longer format of cricket takes endurance, technique, teamwork. Driving to Chicago to enjoy this format requires, 2+ hrs of drive each way.

The CASO league setup the tournament and helped us offer this to cricketers with our Elites partnership.

Indoor Youth tournament

It gets cold, and Coach Zeeshan and company made arrangements to continue cricket Indoors! What gym full of smiles when little cricketers competed for the Indoor trophies!

Madison T20

Fall cricket is always a nostalgic time. Cricketers all season are looking (or not looking) forward to the end of the season. The 5 week Madison tournament for the T20 format was a blast.

Milwaukee T20

Local, and well attended, our players young and old were part of the Milwaukee T20 circuit.

Recognitions

YCW 2023 Batter

Identifying himself as a bowler as the beginning of the season, Vikram provided all the support to the team until his teammates asked him to role model his batting coaching. After a successful opening, he became a upper order fixture for the remainder of the tournaments for the team. Having a strike rate of over 140 across the four tournaments and an average of 42 runs in the tournament MYCA tournament, it is easy to recognize him as the YCW 2021 batsmen!

YCW 2023 Bowler

In his first season after only a few months of formal coaching in the YCW program, Snitik became a more and more confident bowler every game. His approach of improving one bowling aspect at time led to success for his team and himself through the various home and away tournaments. Bagging the best bowler trophy in the YCW Waukesha cup and getting the most wickets across the various tournaments, he is undoubtedly the YCW 2021 bowler.

2024 needs to be a year of cricket with fun and community building. We believe that heroes emerge from nowhere, and this community is not short of genuine talents! The athletes, sponsors, volunteers are all hoping to grow the sport and build a cricket welcoming community. Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Google, Youtube are great ways to show support with a review. Sharing this article and spreading awareness is also a great way to show support.

We welcome your input through our survey to help improve our programs and organization.
